This Hub has been established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to support health and care staff across the Humber, Coast and Vale area who are struggling with the impact of COVID-19. The Resilience Hub is a confidential service and is independent of existing mental health and internal occupational health services.
We recognise that COVID-19 has impacted all aspects of people’s lives. The pressure of global and personal uncertainty, changes to routine and environment and prolonged periods of stress can put extraordinary strain on personal resilience.
Health and care workers particularly have been under extraordinary pressure, working in unfamiliar environments, with reduced staffing levels, and learning new skills, not to mention the added worry of their own family’s health and wellbeing.
Research shows that health and care workers are at higher risk of developing mental health conditions if not adequately supported.
If you work in a health and care environment, we are here to support you.
